At SGIA Atlanta Caldera will be presenting its new Business Workflow software, Flow+. The product, a mix of CRM, MIS and ERP for Business Automation and Control, is the first Workflow software which will interact directly with the RIP process.
Flow+ is a complete business workflow solution for PRINT professionals who want a tool capable of managing all information from all company departments. FLOW+ will then monitor all the necessary phases of the commercial and production process : JOB card, quote, order, inventory, planning, print, finishing, delivery and invoice.
The key innovation is that FLOW+ will get "live" information from Caldera's Super Spooler directly from the RIP, automatically updating information about the job process: file availability, printing status, planning. Sales, planning and production departments will be able to monitor the Job production cycle "live".

Caldera launches new resources support as Caldera Mag. This small "how to" magazine helps you develop your Caldera RIP techniques with a bunch of creative and challenging tips ranging from creating cut contours, mastering spot colors or managing transparencies.
Our intention is to give you the chance to learn new tricks and fine-tune your skills while improving your Caldera RIP knowledge.
The first issue gives insight information about preparing Cut files in Illustrator or Corel Draw and then using them in Caldera.

Caldera and BARBIERI Electronic will be launching a new edition of their well-known spectrophotometer Caldera Swing which will be available in two versions : version R for reflective and version RT for reflective and transmissive materials. The new Caldera Swing comes also in a new design and is faster. Thanks to several improvements the new Spectro Swing (R and RT) are approximatively 30% faster than their predecessor.
Jérôme Brunet will be reinforcing the sales team as Area Sales Manager for Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Central & South America. Fluent in Spanish, Jérôme has a strong sales management experience on international markets.
